Our Mission

Changing the Face of Medicine

We are diversifying the physician workforce by developing a pipeline of academically prepared minority students that will become well trained, culturally competent physicians.

We are dedicated to increasing the number of minority physicians practicing in the U.S.

To adequately address the healthcare needs of this diverse population

we need to significantly increase the number of Black and other under-represented minorities (URM) in the physician workforce.

Studies show that when a patient and their doctor are of the same race

the patient will experience a more satisfying doctor- patient relationship.

To increase the number of Black and other URM doctors

we must develop strategies and initiate programs that will inspire, recruit, and educate ethnically diverse physicians.

Undergraduate students beginning their pre-med curriculum or in the process of submitting their application to medical school


Post Bac students that are first time applicants or rejected applicants that want to re-apply

What is Pre-Med Solutions?

Pre-Med Solutions is a personalized, comprehensive mentoring and advising service that
provides strategies, advice, education and assistance with

  • navigating the pathway to becoming a physician
  • improving and completing your med school application
  • choosing the right school to attend
  • applying for a residency position
  • applying for a job as a physician

How is your service different from other organizations that do what you do?

  • we are driven by a mission and a passion to mentor future physicians we place a special emphasis on underrepresented minorities and students of color
  • we provide special support to students with true or perceived deficiencies in their application
  • we have significantly more experience than other services we have a broad network of physicians and admissions officers that are part of our team
  • we are a 501(c) (3) non-profit and our service is free except for a small administrative fee
  • we provide financial support for application expenses for selected students
